Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 5, 2026
This policy explains what information PrintInvoice ("we", "us") collects when you use printinvoice.app (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, which we use to sign you in and to contact you about your account.
- Invoice and client data. The content you create — invoices, line items, client names and contact details, company settings, tax registration numbers — is stored so the Service can function.
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used (pages viewed, features used, approximate location, device type). Google Analytics may set cookies. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Where your data is stored
Account data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, and is protected by row-level security so that only your account can access your invoices, clients, and settings.
If you use the Service without an account (demo mode), your invoice and client data is stored locally in your browser only. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser storage will delete it.
Email sending
When you email an invoice to a client from the Service, the message and its PDF attachment are delivered through a third-party transactional email provider. The recipient address and invoice content are shared with that provider solely to deliver the email.
Payments
Premium purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record. Your payment card details are collected and processed entirely by Lemon Squeezy — we never see or store your card information. Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy applies to the payment process.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use your invoice or client data for advertising.
- We do not send marketing email without your consent.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete invoices and clients in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at support@printinvoice.app and we will remove it within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and similar laws), you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact support@printinvoice.app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
